"Wow, what a great change" exclaim enthusiasts following the "excellent redo" of this South Side hotel, from "attractive rooms" to "great amenities" that include an exercise room, indoor pool, hot tub, business center and free Internet connections and parking; detractors dis it all as "tepid at best" (even the sometimes "frigid" pool), but admit it's partially because they "don't like" the "industrial" feel of this part of town.

Convenient location to businesses in the area and the freeway.
Aging infrastructure: WiFi internet was not working, TV was horrible picture and barely worked.
Older hotel with some attempts at modernization. Don't expect luxury, but a great bargain for the online pricing deals.

Older hotel that has had recent updates. Hall ways feel like basement tunnels. While the fixtures and bedding are new, the feel is still old and grungy.

Cold showers in the AM. No complimentary breakfast.

The location was good.
The room was in need of minor repairs/lights.
The motel was pleasant and the location for my needs was great. The person who checked us in was somewhat ill-mannered. The room was spacious but needing of some minor repairs and needed light bulb replacement. The bed (by the numbers) only half worked, so we did not to take full advantage of the feature.
